Developer Log - 13/04/21


Approach: Though not extensive, I tried to group up the UVs into one for organization purposes and to make it easier to import in smaller batches. Simply collected the faces for each section of the model, used planar mapping instead of automatic to capture the view through a plane projection and exported those selected models into Substance Painter to begin adding base colours and gradients.

Imported the model into Substance Painter, used a tutorial from Stylized Station to get a better sense of the workspace and to get a head start on texturing. (All I managed to get up to for today)
