Developer Log - 11/04/21


Approach: Went about remodelling a strength test to fix the topology of the mesh and improve on UV Mapping. Followed the pattern of fencing to create rounded edges that don't clip or cause the vertices to get messy when I began extruding, and duplicated the base form to a total of five to give the impression of the model towering over the player (using the scale of the player character as a guideline). Haven't yet applied base colours but managed to get further than I expected for today.

Wireframe front view with two other models for comparison and to remember to apply other elements to the model later


Stacking duplicate base, deleting the bottom of the duplicate and using the target wield to merge the two forms together. However, I had to manually delete vertices to clean up the mesh properties.
