Developer log 1/03/21: 

Approach

Taking inspiration from Ladder balance, the approach that I wanted to take was creating a rope texture that is commonly used for sturdy / rickety movement, to enhance the gameplay feature for balancing across a moving surface.

I began with creating the rope texture  for the ladder using a deformer to twist the cyclinders to intertwine and stack to reach a desired length. 

I did face a few issues, but that was mainly because of the limited experience with the deformer feature of Maya and snapping feature to link models together without manually moving them closer to get an approximated attachment . Though, no textures currently applied, making way for later adjustments.
